Walking is a 'healthy activity for everyone'
That is according to Zimena Percival, PR consultant for Walk London's Autumn Ambles, who has suggested that London has "hidden gems around every corner" for walkers to enjoy.
She said: "Walking is a gentle, healthy activity for everyone - good for the respiratory and muscular systems and for general wellbeing."
Ms Percival advised that if people want to keep fit by walking all they need is loose clothing and a good pair of walking shoes.
Her comments come ahead of Walk London's Walking Weekend which takes place on September 24th and 25th and allows people to take part in free walks across the capital.
