3 stone 7 lbs with the Total Wellbeing plan!
For as long as she can remember Linda has followed some diet or other, in a commendable but unsuccessful effort to shed weight.
Linda shares her story with us...
“I have tried them all, low carb dieting, the cabbage soup diet, hypnotism; do you need me to go on? Sometimes I lost weight but it was always a quick loss and when I stopped dieting I would regain the weight lost and more besides.”
That all ended when she made the life changing decision to join the online weight loss programme. The ‘size’ of the problem was undeniable when she was presented with a seemingly innocent photo. The photo was taken at a wedding and instead of admiring the blushing bride and her proud husband Linda found herself unable to tear her gaze from the rather plumpish lady staring back at her.
Reality hit like a vicious thump, Linda had allowed herself to slip into a lifestyle that allowed her become this person she was ashamed to be.
“The turning point came at Christmas; my sister in law showed me a photo taken last July at her wedding. I took one look and could not believe it was me! My clothes were also tight and uncomfortable; I was so embarrassed by the prospect of buying size 20 clothes. I knew then this was a case of get bigger or get smaller.”
There and then Linda made the decision to have a makeover from the inside out. She registered with the Total Wellbeing plan and never looked back.
As a young mother in the prime of her youth, there was no reason that Linda should have been experiencing such self esteem issues and unhappiness. She realized this and did something about it.
Now 7 months after joining the Total Wellbeing plan she has lost an immense 3 stone 7 lbs and she has transformed her body into one she is proud of. Just one look at her gorgeous size 12 figure shows what a difference eating healthily and following a sensible eating plan has made to her.
“I hated going out because I never looked how I wanted, now I refuse to stay in! Since losing the weight I have had so many people comment on how great I look that my confidence has been boosted no end.”
Her social life is not the only aspect of her life that has seen an improvement!
“I suffered from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) since I was 17 and to my amazement this plan has meant it has gone from being a daily occurrence to a much rarer complaint.”
The meal plans gave Linda an opportunity to scrutinise her diet and determine the foods that were aggravating her condition. After years of thinking all the salads were to blame for the unpleasant symptoms she experienced she realized that she had been fooling herself into believing the healthy stuff was to blame all along.
“I had a very poor diet but I still thought that salads were responsible for setting of bouts of IBS. The plan finally proved that it was actually all the other foods I ate that were causing the condition. I ate lots of processed food and binged when I was feeling depressed. I even hid chocolate because my husband’s thin and I didn’t want him to see me pig out.”
How things have changed in a few short months!
“Now I take pride in what I eat and although I still enjoy my daily treat I love the whole process from the preparation to the eating, it’s gone from a chore to a pleasure.”
Transforming her unsound eating habits turned out to be much easier than she had anticipated. Thanks to her fondness for the recipes offered by the Total Wellbeing plan, she has discovered a nutritional meal plan that incorporates all her likes.
“Following the meal plans was easy. I enjoyed every mouthful and have never had the urge to cheat as my body has felt satisfied. The way the meals are set out makes the plan very easy to follow and the ingredients a must have.”
After years of following every faddy diet on the market Linda decided the Total Wellbeing plan was her chance to really do things properly. She decided to set herself mini goals rather than huge ones that would be impossible to stick to.
“My advice is to only set small goals in the early stages. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, I only lost small amounts each week but they added up to a lot and eventually I reached my target weight!”
Once she set her mind around transforming her life she decided the time was ripe to dust of her trainers. Linda realized the little changes she incorporated into her day would make all the difference!
“I could not afford to join the gym so I made small changes. I walk instead of using the car and if I am driving when I go to the supermarket I park further away from the store, I always use the stairs instead of escalators. All these minor things have helped me and they have been free.”
Linda could not have foretold the massive impact following an online diet plan would have on her but there is little doubt that this diet has changed not only her body and health but her life as well.
“It is impossible to describe how happy I am. I still have to look twice in the mirror, the transformation is like a dream come true!”
