4 stone 10 lbs loss for Catherine!

Tingling fingers, swollen ankles and fatigue were just some of the issues that prompted Catherine to do something about her weight. “I realised that things had gotten out of hand so I registered for the meal plans.”

Catherine was determined to keep her weight loss efforts under wrap until she was certain that she wouldn’t fail the diet miserably. Once she admitted her secret to her husband he decided a healthy eating plan might work for him too. “My husband was told to change his diet for health reasons. That’s when I decided to tell him and we were able to help each other.”

Catherine admits that she became more sedentary over the past few years and at her heaviest she was 16 stone 10 lbs and a size 22. “I lost a lot of weight without trying after my kids were born but it gradually crept on as my life became less active, especially at work.”

With a BMI of 32 Catherine was in the obese bracket and coincidentally at a higher risk of all sorts of health problems. Still a few pounds off her ideal weight Catherine is an amazing 4 stone 10 lbs lighter and she looks fab in her new size 12 clothes. “People comment positively on how I look. I used to feel invisible.”

The new slimmer Catherine is more confident, vibrant and energetic than ever before. Instead of trying to hide in the shadows of friends and family she loves to entertain and socialise with the best of the party goers. “I feel much more able to make the most of life now.”

And what were her reasons for choosing our online healthy eating plans? “It gave me discipline without the public humiliation of a class situation. I work unusual hours and this gave me the flexibility I needed.”

Catherine knows all about nutritious food now and how she can incorporate these foods into her daily routine. “I eat lots more vegetables than I used to and I make a point of eating at regular intervals so I am never hungry. I eat the salad garnish instead of the sandwiches at business lunches.”

Exercise has been a vital part of Catherine’s success. “I swim 1 km twice a week, walk the dog several days, go to the gym once a week and use the stairs whenever I can.”

“My son recently bought me wind-surfng lessons which I loved and best of all I fitted into the size 12 wetsuit.”

Catherine has some words of wisdom for anyone that is struggling on a diet.

“If your weight sticks at a particular point, review what you are eating-you may think you are sticking to the rules but something like portion control may have slipped.”
