Kelly loses 2 stone 12 lbs

Many of us are working longer hours than ever before and this is taking a toll on our waistlines. In general we are less active and we are eating less home-cooked meals, opting for take-aways and food on the run instead. This is exactly what happened to Kelly, but not only did she gain weight, she also developed high blood pressure. Kelly joined our online plan, as she felt it could fit in with her hectic work life. She dropped 2 stone 12 lbs and 2 dress sizes.

Kelly shares her story with us…

What made you decide to sign up to an online diet plan?

I was getting very relaxed about eating and exercising, because of my long work hours. I constantly felt tired and my blood pressure was rising. I wanted to make a change for the better and I knew your diet would help me to do this.

Was your weight causing you any problems?

I lacked confidence, especially in my appearance. Previously I had been fit and healthy, so I was very aware of my size. I couldn’t even look at photos of myself.

Tell us about your diet before you joined us?

I ate when I could and that generally involved grabbing something quick. Now I eat at set times and all of my meals are prepared the night before.

Have you enjoyed following the diet plans?

I found it really easy to follow and I loved the flexibility it gave me to tailor the meals. The recipes are tasty and easy to knock together.

How have people reacted to your weight loss?

My family and friends give me lots of compliments. They even tell me that I look younger, which is a fantastic bonus.

How do you feel about your weight loss?

It’s great, I can fit into clothes I haven’t worn for years. I no longer take the easy options with food and I enjoy my meals all the more as a result.

Are you confident about maintaining your weight loss?

I’m only 2 lbs off my target weight and I am so fixed at staying at that weight once I reach it. My lifestyle changes are for life, so I am confident I can maintain the loss.

Have you any tips for people who may be considering following a diet plan?

It’s hard to make the decision to change your life, but it really is worth it.
