Kim loses 3 stone 5 lbs on the Light Choices plan
After gaining a lot of weight over a short period of time Kim couldn't ignore her weight problems any longer. When she came across the online diet plans she knew she had found something that could fit into her busy lifestyle and work for her. In just a few months Kim lost 3 stone 5 lbs and dropped from a size 16 to a size 10-12.

Have you ever tried other diets?
Yes, but they never worked.
Tell us about your diet before you joined us?
My diet was full of junk food and the servings were enormous. Now I have a very healthy diet with smaller portions which fill me up. My diet is really varied and I am more open to trying new foods.
What made you decide to join us?
After suffering an injury I had to spend 3 weeks off work and I was on the sofa comfort eating for a lot of that time. At the end of the 3 weeks I was horrified to see that I was over 12 stone. I knew in my heart that I was overweight before that, but I was convinced that it would be ok if I was less than 12 stone.
Was your weight causing you any problems?
I was upset at the size of clothes I was having to buy and I always wore a jacket to hide myself even when it was warm.
What difference has losing weight made to you?
A huge difference, even though I am not at my ideal weight yet I am more confident. I had a huge boost the other day when I bought a top in size 10 and it actually fitted.
What weight and clothes size are you now?
At the beginning I weighed 12 stone 3 lbs and I was a size 16. Now I weigh 8 stone 11 lbs and I am a size 10-12.
Have you enjoyed the online diet plans?
The online diet plans are brilliant as they are easy to follow. The meal plans are great and they can be adapted to my family’s needs.
Has exercise played a part in helping you to lose weight?
Recently I started rebounding (aerobics on trampolines) in an effort to tone up.
How have your family and friends reacted to your loss?
They are stunned at how much I have lost and my mum is so proud that I am finally heading in the right direction.
How do you feel about your weight loss?
I am delighted that I have actually done it. It’s all too easy to make excuses that we are too busy or too tired to eat properly – this is rubbish. The food I have been eating is healthy and easy to make. Also I am happy that I haven't touched a can of diet coke, a packet of crisps or a bit of chocolate since I started.
Do you feel confident about maintaining your weight loss?
I am planning to stick to the diet even after I have achieved my target weight.
Have you any other tips you would like to give?
The online diet plan is easy to follow and the recipes taste great. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to successfully lose weight.
