Lesley's weight loss success!
Lesley was fast approaching 50, but she still felt like a self conscious teenager. Pretty clothes were virtually impossible to find and her weight was starting to take its toll on her health. Since registering Lesley has lost a hefty 2 stone 12 lbs reducing her BMI from an obese one of 31 to a much healthier BMI of 24.

Why did you decide to sign up and register for a diet plan?
On reaching my 50th birthday I realised how unhappy I was with how I looked and felt. I knew I had to something about it.
Was your weight causing you any problems?
I couldn’t find clothes I liked, I wore loose fitting tops to hide my shape and it did make me feel very self conscious about my weight. I was also concerned that my weight was causing my health to suffer.
Describe how your diet has changed since joining us?
I would eat lots of desserts and chocolate bars but now I snack on fruit, yoghurt and sugar free jelly instead. I still have the occasional bar or biscuit but only as a treat. Vegetables are a big part of my meals now and I flavour my recipes with herbs and spices. I don’t miss my old way of eating.
Did you enjoy following your diet?
The site has helped me a lot, the mentors are always there when I need an extra push or any help along the way. The meal plans are the best I have seen because they are so easy to use and if you don’t like any food you can easily tailor the ingredients. My family also love all the delicious food I have cooked for them. I find it really easy to adapt the recipes for the whole family. The plan has changed my whole approach to food and meal planning./
Has life changed for you since losing the weight?
I have gained lots of self confidence now that I can fit into tailored clothes. I feel a lot healthier and better about myself than I did previously.
Have you any tips for other people like you?
Keep at it even on the bad weeks when you gain or stay the same, you will soon get back on track. Joining the groups or just reading the blogs helps you to see you are not alone and everybody is going through the bad times and the good times just like you.
