Steve discovers a diet that works for him!
Worried for his health Steve decided to do something about his increasing weight. He was scared by the fact that he was in the obese category and knew the only effective solution would be to exercise regularly, plus follow a healthy and balanced diet. Within 6 months of following the diet plans, Steve lost an amazing 2 stone 4 lbs.

Have you previously tried any other diets?
I have tried the Paleolithic diet, but it wasn't successful.
What made you decide to join us?
My weight has been slowly increasing for years and in 2009 I became obese and decided I had to do something about it.
Was your weight causing you any problems?
Yes, it became difficult for me to find trousers to fit when my waist reached a size 40. I even found the XXL tops were getting too small for comfort.
Tell us about your diet before you joined us?
I had gotten into the habit of eating as soon as I felt peckish, and eating food which wasn’t as nutritious and filling, but full of fat. Now I find I can eat good-sized wholesome meals which will leave me pleasantly full and keep me going until my next meal or snack.
What part, if any, has exercise played in helping you to lose weight?
I knew I’d need to incorporate exercise for this to succeed, so instead of getting the bus to work I now do the 30 minute round trip by bike.
What difference has losing weight made to you?
The weight loss has made a real difference to me. I feel more energetic than before and the heavy-footed trudging has been replaced by a spring in my step. I can wear my shirts tucked into my trousers again without looking ridiculous and I can shop for the clothes of my choice rather than the ones that fit.
What did you think of the service overall?
Well I’ve tried dieting before and it comes down to the online diet working. I particularly like the meal plans because if I’ve forgotten to defrost the chicken for dinner I can easily replace the meal with an alternative which will still be within my limits. I also like having the nutritionists on hand, so that if I have a query or problem I can get instant advice from somebody who is professional and familiar with my diet.
How have your family and friends reacted to your weight loss?
My family have been very supportive and encouraging. My wife has a motive as I now do a lot more of the cooking. For me, it’s great as it is the first diet I’ve actually stuck to and I’ve proved that I’m not just a yo-yo dieter.
